Lucky us! Khenpo Lekshey is returning again, to run sessions on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September.
Saturday (2pm) will see him run a guided meditation, taking us through the daily practice that he advises for Mahayana Buddhists, which includes Tong-len, a meditation technique that helps us to develop loving-kindness, compassion and a realistic view of ourselves. This is the practice that is given to people at the centre when they “Take Refuge”, or become a Buddhist. So for anyone who has become a Buddhist, but not heard Khenpo take us through this powerful daily meditation, it would be a very useful session to attend.
Then on the Sunday (6pm), he will give us a teaching on Buddhist philosophy followed by a short meditation.
Khenpo will be returning to India soon, when the weather gets colder here, and is not planning to return until it warms up again, so make the most of him while he’s here!
